We currently have an opening for: STAKEHOLDER OUTREACH MANAGER
The Stakeholder Outreach Manager co-leads all activities related to stakeholders of the project to ensure the objective of the achievement project goals at the site level. S/he leads project engagement with different corporate partner teams and support the engagement with the high-level stakeholders at different levels at the project area and the Province as well as the existing multi-lateral and bi-lateral donor agencies and corporates operating in the area. S/he is responsible for the progress of the activities related to stakeholders and support the project team to mitigate the challenges. S/he supervises and ensures the different high-level scenario building exercises and policy dialogues are conducted according to the work plan. S/he ensures that all project team is informed of the project progress. S/he contributes towards establishing the partnership and negotiates complex and innovative solutions with government agencies and different stakeholders to achieve the project goals.
- In consultation with YKAN Senior Policy Advisor and project team and consultants to design stakeholder engagement strategies and processes for scenario building exercises and policy dialogues
- Support to implement strategy to secure the interest and commitment high-level stakeholders at different levels at District and Provincial as well as the existing multi-lateral and bi-lateral donor agencies and corporates operating in the District and to participate in the scenario building exercise and different dialogues to achieve the project goals.
- Support the identification of interest and opportunities to establish different partnerships and agreements to support the implementation of the project. These included aligning interests of donors, policy-makers, and land-managers (corporate and communities).
- Work closely with project team and consultants to understand the different analyses undertaken and their results, and support the analyses as needed.
- Strategically and effectively communicate results and findings to different corporate partner teams and its partners, and key stakeholders at the district and provincial levels through one-on-on discussions and formal presentations.
- Ensure the different reports produced by the project team at the site level are timely and of high quality.
- Lead YKAN project team at site level of regular coordination meetings.
- Lead the coordination meeting with the different corporate partner teams as needed and establishing relations with corporate partner teams and key stakeholders
The Stakeholder Outreach Manager is based in the project area in West Kalimantan Province which will be informed later and reports to the Associate Director of Development for Corporate Practice.
- BA/BS degree and 5 years’ experience in conservation practice or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience managing complex or multiple projects, including staffing, workloads and finances under deadlines.
- Supervisory experience, including motivating, leading, setting objectives and managing performance.
- Experience in partnership development with non-profit partners, community groups and/or government agencies
- Experience negotiating.
- Strong communication, facilitation and presentation skill.
- Able to work under difficult situation with limited supervision
