General responsibilities :Prepare and implement sales action plans to achieve sales target for assigned product / client / market segmentExecute sales activities for assigned product / client / market segment.Analyze and identify business opportunities and provide recommendations to utlilize these opportunitiesPrepare and / or review quotations, proposals and contracts to facilitate sales agreementsMonitor competitors' activities and products. Recommend practical actions to counter competitionPrepare sales reports and report projected sales / margin forecasts. Track and highlight unusual increases / decreases in customer demandCoordinate continuous improvement activities to enhance sales processes, sales plans, customer satisfaction, etc., to improve sales targetsInvestigate, resolve and log customer issues and advise on follow-up actionsMaintain relationships with customers through managing and interpreting their requirements. Follow up with customers, respond to queries and solicit further orders / opportunitiesWork with internal stakeholders to ensure timely delivery and installation of products / systems. Support internal stakeholders in relationship development with key customers
Leadership responsibilities :
Drive self-learning and improvement in the area of Technical Product Sales and DKSH behavior as part of continuous learning
Functional skills and knowledge :Experienced in sales of spectrophotometer in textile segment for at least 3 yearsDemonstrate a good working knowledge and understanding of the industry / market / competitors / customersDemonstrate a good working knowledge in assigned products / services / systems and strong selling skillsDemonstrate a good understanding of Textile manufacturing processesDemonstrate strong communication and negotiation skillsDemonstrate basic research and analytical skillsDemonstrate proficiencies in office productivity tools (e.g. Excel, Word and PowerPoint)Demonstrate fluency in local language and ideally in English, both written and spoken
Soft skills : Negotiation Skill
Diploma or professional qualification in Engineering, Management or Marketing related discipline
Work experience :
Minimum 3 years’ experience in selling laboratory equipment, textile segment
