Team introduction The Seller Operations team focuses on building an ecosystem that supports and propels seller growth, in line with our vision to be the most engaging e-Commerce marketplace in Indonesia. Core operations of the team include Seller Engagement, Seller Services, and Business Development. Job description 1. Lead the Seller Engagement team in Indonesia to engage and propel the growth of the seller based in Lazada Indonesia, via 3 functions – Seller Communications, Seller Community, and Seller Training
2. Groom the team in seller communications plan and message crafting, including comms channel management to ensure that all seller-related information is communicated and delivered effectively to sellers
3. Lead efforts to build a first-in-class training program (Lazada University) and a seller trainer program in collaboration with Taobao University (LazStar Academy) to enable seller access to quality contents that serve their business needs
4. Build engaged local seller communities across Indonesia cities with a focus on empowering sellers to grow to the next level of their businesses, through sharing, helping and co-learning within these communities
5. Lead in designing and executing seller growth strategies via engagement and educational activities, in line with the company’s overall directions & sellers’ needs. E.g. outreach program to improve seller join rate for mega campaigns and know-how on best campaign execution to boost the sellers’ sales performance
6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Lazada Indonesia and regional SE team to identify opportunities to address sellers’ pain points & develop shared solutions
7. Conduct regular seller & brand focus groups, interviews, and research exercises and ensure sellers’ voices are being heard and sellers’ needs are met
8. Directly interact and build a strong, credible relationship with our key partners – seller trainers, community leaders, Taobao University, other external partners (Trade of Commerce, etc)
9. Manage day-to-day Seller Engagement activities, including seller communications, seller PR, campaign participation, training programs, community engagement plans. Ensuring high level of SE operational efficiency and that overall team KPIs & objectives are met, in line with company objectives
Job requirements 1. Professional experience in a leadership role in Training & Development, Communications and/or Community Management with the ability to deliver results in a highly competitive Indonesia market
2. Minimum 7 years of working experience in the related field, ideally in e-commerce / digital business industry
3. Ability to drive business decisions through data-driven analysis and cross-functional / cross-level collaboration
4. Proficient in comms channel effectiveness management, comms planning, and messaging strategies
5. Proficient in training design and content planning, community building
6. Ability to think out of the box and provide creative, effective solutions
7. Ability to manage team, prioritize, deliver on multiple projects in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment
8. Data-driven with strong Excel skills and the ability to analyze data
9. Excellent verbal and written communication in English and Bahasa Indonesia
