The Manager, Financial Planning and Analysis will provide finance support / advice to the market Finance Head as well as the Commercial team in the delivery of critical business support and value added activities in areas such as planning and reporting, business appraisal, projects, risk management, and governance / controls.
This position will elevate the role of finance in commercial activities by providing sound business advice in the area of pricing, retail and wholesale profitability and productivity analysis and support & challenge the development & execution of the strategy for the country.
ResponsibilitiesPrepare and review Annual Financial Plan, monthly forecast, quarterly forecast & Strategic Business Plans.Review and analysis financial result; by products and channels.Review, analysis and advise price and its GP% by PC 9 level and distribution channels.Review, analysis and advise buying budget.In charge for DSI review and calculation.In charge for inventory accounting including inventory / stock control in MDS.Prepare monthly, quarterly, YTD brand financials for the Levi’s® brands. Provide commentary on performance.Monitor financial performance of product lines at the product, gender & category level, taking corrective action where necessary by bringing issues to the attention of the Finance Director.Manage the upcoming brand seasonal profitability analysis, providing commentary & recommendation on improvements (when necessary).Work closely with Brand Merchandising and Finance on product / product line (including Made For Outlet product range) analysis : Post product season contribution analysis;Current season product / segment / category contribution analysis; trend analysis; productivity and optimal assortment size analysis;
product commonality across the Region.Product pricing analysis : analyzing product price points across countries.Country product & brand sell in & providing commentary on risks & opportunities for Senior Management.Local business performance presentations for Senior Management including financials, commentary, market research details & trends based on market research.Producing profitability and productivity report at store level internally and on retail partner on periodic basis.Develop financial and investment model for each business channel, store banner and also undertaking sensitivity analysis to deliver business objective.Monitor return on investment against the plan and provide business case for any investment we going to make.Participating in driving budgeting and forecasting process on store level.Support monthly management accounts and the board reporting packs.Inventory : analyze inventory levels including the profile of inventory on hand & in the trade and provide suggested action plan to drive healthy Inventory level.Provide commercial support and expertise to other team members.In charge on holistic mapping in Indonesia Market and market share update together with commercial team.Financial modeling for commercials projects in marketing including scenario planning & sensitivity analysis.Adhoc analysis as and when required.
RequirementsBachelor in Accounting or Finance or related degree. MBA / CPA / equivalent will be an added advantage.Minimum 5 - 6 years’ experience in a financial analysis role, preferably 3 4 years working experience as a commercial analyst with a proven record of delivering commercial support, for a multinational company.Strong analytical and data mining skills is required.Regional experience is advantageous but not necessary.Systems Experience : BI / Data Warehouse (a must), Essbase & SAP (advantageous but not necessary).Proficiency with MS Office, particularly in MS Excel and PowerPoint.Strong communication and influencing skills, at all levels and globally.Pro-active, keen to take the initiative and highly analytical.Ability to multi task and likes challenges.Experience working in a US MNC.Experience working in regional level working with teams in countries across Asia Pacific is preferred.
