Implement & drive the technical and quality strategy for the region / LOs, including contributing towards Technical Services’ targets and overall direction.
Develop & lead RFT (Right First Time) culture throughout the regional Technical Services team, drive new technologies, supplier development and continuous improvement to support the region / LOs in terms of business growth, product innovation, product / process quality & production performance.
Key Responsibilities :Set strategic quality goals & targets, aligned with GOPS direction, internally & externally with supply base to ensure compliance with adidas standards throughout the process across all brands.Drive & implement the technical and quality strategy for Region / LO’s as well as to support the strategy for the region / LOs in terms of business growth, product technology, etc.Support cross functional teams in development and production processes & activities where required.Lead and manage the respective regional Technical Services team to define product integrity and eliminate quality problems in development and production.Support vendor operations on relevant Technical & Quality training needsAlign on quality escalation process implementation & executionEstablish and share best practices across the Technical Services teams; introduce new processes and pioneering technologies that are in line with adidas best practices to support continuous improvement and product innovation.Contribute to overall sourcing and business strategies through vendor certification, training of new suppliers and building a World Class Supply Base.Set and monitor quality performance targets with T1 ensuring Global targets are achievedStrive towards world class standards across the adidas supply base with technical evaluations of current and potential new adidas-Group suppliers.Develop a Right First Time mindset within the LO and the supply base to reduce waste, cost and improve efficiencies to continually strive towards improvements.Develop T1s on a continuous basis through the measurement and communication of their performance against all targets as well as effective training and certification (sample rooms, in-
line, end -line & final inspectors).Support and monitor functional projects and initiatives, such as ME, CI, Costing, etc. that take place in the manufacturing environment.Develop and / or support initiatives that drive and promote a quality culture to elevate the adidas quality and technical standards, within the organisation and supply base.Continually develop a strong team and foster teamwork between internal, cross functional & T1 teams.Support the build of a lean and effective organisation structure. Ensure adequate training and development is in place to meet the needs of the organisation.

Knowledge Skills and Abilities :Able to use and implement quality systems, good understanding of process control.Able to coach the technical services team to solve problems.Understands statistics and how to use them to improve business performance.Strong management and leadership skills.Good IT- / EDP-skills including Excel and Word. Comfortable with learning internal Product Data Management systems.
Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum QualificationsMinimum ten years experience in apparel manufacturing, technology or quality assurance, preferably within Asia.Degree or certificate in Textile and Garment Studies or Textile Engineering, or equivalent related technical experience.Fluent English language skills, both written and spoken.
