With a focus on the establishment and drive of a strong distributionchannel within the region, the Business Development Manager will identify and deliver upon opportunities to grow premium income and seek new business, using an in-depth understanding of client business drivers to manage the sales process to a successful conclusion. Support the General Manager (Indonesia) to manage relationships with a panel of key national and regional brokers;
review broker performance and provide training as needed to ensure best possible positioning of our products and services.
Business Development :
Build a robust distributionmodel, ensuring the development of the channel through close relationship management, training and guidance of distribution channel for specific products.
Work with the General Manager and Business Development Director to build upon existing broker and intermediary relationships within Indonesia in order to maximise quote production and generate income for Now Health International to an agreed annual target.Identify and develop new business opportunities both within and outside our established geographical footprint, focusing on Indonesia.Present Now Health International to potential clients through direct communication in face to face meetings, telephone calls and emails.
Ensure that all communications demonstrate the highest levels of professionalism and cultural sensitivity.Actively manage the sales process, including lead generation, credentials pitch, overcoming objections, negotiations and closing.
Support is available from the General Manager & for large, complex pitches and development of a strategic plan.Manage and maintain a sales pipeline, including awareness of the performance of specific accounts, ensuring that targets are met and all sales administration is current using OH+ / CRM software.Manage and align clients' and distributors expectations of service standards, and support the development of operational staff to nurture strong intermediary relationships.Create and be accountable for proposals, contracts and further documentation using Now Health International procedures and service standards.Respond to requests for information in a timely manner.Actively manage existing clients including mid-year reviews, renewal process, negotiations and closing. Support is available from the General Manager & for large, complex pitches and development of a strategic plan.Work closely with the General Manager and Business Development Director to report on the results of the area under control as required.Keep abreast of issues affecting the insurance sector and collect competitor intelligence.Arrange and attend meetings and other forms of communication with clients and / or other internal functions necessary to perform the above duties.
Extensive business travel will be required to meet with intermediaries across the full geographical scope of the region.Adhere to Best Practice Processes, Service Standards and all relevant statutory or regulatory requirements, including treating customers fairly (TCF)
