ROLE SUMMARY

Selling complex telecoms software solutions at senior executive levels to Tier 1 & 2 Communications Services Providers, plus ongoing account management of these accounts.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES

•Achieve the agreed sales target.

•Experience in closing deals is critical.

•Take ownership for the Sales process, working in close partnership with Technical Sales & Professional Services and other internal departments.

•Create demand/sales leads for Openet solutions within Tier 1 & 2 accounts.

•Qualify prospects and leads to identify relevant business opportunities.

•Creation of Account Plans and strategies to close new business.

•Present comprehensive business solutions and negotiate terms at senior levels of the customer’s organisation.

•Liaise with other parts of the Openet organization to prepare proposals and deliver solutions.

•Work with global Tier 1 & 2 third party partners and system integration organisations.

•Identify regional partners who can, where applicable, add value to the sales process.

•Develop a knowledge and understanding of Openet Products & Solutions, and carry out effective presentations of these to clients.

•Solutions sales or similar type sales training/experience

QUALIFICATIONS

Graduate – degree holder

EXPERIENCE

5+ years Sales experience in telecom sector either with a network equipment manufacturer or a telco software company, ideally a BSS or OSS software company. Proven Sales track record
